Our board is a curation of incredible community members throughout Robertson County who are passionate about the preservation and retelling of our county's history.

Gene Beck
Favorite exhibit is Tobacco & Whiskey
He and his wife volunteer to give tours throughout the museum. They were also featured on the Christmas Tour Homes in 2022.

Paul Nutting

PRESIDENT
Paul is a former city manager of Springfield and was a city management professional for thirty-nine years. Growing up in a small but very historic city in upstate New York, his love of history began at an early age. It is his long-held belief that communities which value and preserve their heritage create a sense of place and pride that help to create a brighter future. Paul is now enjoying his retirement but stays committed to the city of Springfield through his work at the Historical Society.
John Baker

1st year as a board member, author, life long resident of Robertson County. John is an award winning author with strong ties to the community.

Jodi Ballard

Favorite exhibit is Main Street
Jodi was born and raised in Robertson County. She graduated from WKU with a double major in Psychology/Sociology and from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Masters in Education. Jodi was a teacher in Robertson County and is currently a stay at home mom to Tate & Emri. She has been married to Todd since 2002. Jodi enjoys volunteering her time to her church, Springfield Baptist, The Chamber of Robertson County, Miss Robertson County, South Haven Christian School and loves to plan events with the Robertson County History Museum. She serves on the Evening in Elmwood Committee as well as the Christmas Tour of Homes.
Brad Moreland

Treasurer
Brad is a Robertson county native. He lives in Springfield together with wife, Nikki, and their two daughters, Harper and Emme. The family enjoys taking road trips to visit parks and museums across the state.
